Guelph09 accommodations will be handled through the conference registration process, commencing March 1, 2009, by Conference Services, UofG. The on-line registration will handle all registration as well as accommodations, including hotel bookings. For more details visit the registration page.
Guelph, located in the Golden Horseshoe of Ontario, has great access to all your transportation needs. If you are traveling via car note the directions on this page, including the Google map with it's enhanced objects.
If you are flying, there are three airports located near by; the largest being Pearson Int'l Airport, Toronto handling all major airlines, including international flights. John C Munro Hamilton Int'l Airport handling most domestic flights. Closer still is the KW Int'l Airport. Please check with your airlines as to destinations. Land transportation from any of these airports can be facilitated by a Red Car Service. Please check with the online registration page for Red Car assistance.
If the train will be a part of your travel plans VIA rail has planned stops at the Guelph Train Station. The station is located at the corner of Wyndham & 79 Carden St., just 2.5 km from the University campus. Additional transport to the campus can be met by Guelph Transit or through local taxi. Please confirm scheduled train times.
Bus transportation by GO Transit, Greyhound and Coach Canada make stops at the new UofG bus facilities located outside the University Centre. Please confirm location stops and time with the carrier of your choice.

How to Get to the University of Guelph
The University of Guelph (UofG) is located in Guelph, Ontario, a vibrant community of over 100,000 people situated in the heart of southern Ontario, just 100km west of Toronto.
Directions from the 401 East or West
Exit #299 (Hwy. 6 Hamilton) and travel North (Brock Road North). Brock Road changes to Gordon Street once you enter the City of Guelph (approx. 16 km). Follow Gordon Street to Stone Road and travel one block north of this intersection to locate the main entrance of the University of Guelph.
